Handmade weaving and the creation of wearable accessories such as collars, scarves, shawls, capes or baby carriers are a good example of what Mireloom brand can offer. It’s a micro-company, whose great value lies in the endless pursuit of “best practices”, beauty and uniqueness. Each item manufactured by Mirella Cherchi needed a long and meticulous project, starting from the frame, the braiding of warp and weft, the choice of yarns and colours. Those colours and matchings, sometimes outside the box, are the signature Mirella Cherchi gives to her creations. Colours are varied, vivid and well balanced, never subdued to common fashion. She weaves only high-quality yarns, produced in Italy by farmers and dyers. Raw materials are dyed using natural pigments that give rich shades to natural fibres like Merino, alpaca, camel, yak silk, cotton, linen. Mireloon offers not only collections of ready-to-wear items, but also totally customized accessories. Producing a tailor-made item means interpreting the customers’ desires and bring them through the whole creative process. It’s an engaging and stimulating work, that needs mutual trust and it’s the good opportunity to get closer to this unknown but vital art. Mirella Cherchi is available on scheduled appointment only.
