Luxury bags by Architect and designer Hussain Harba

On 19th September, within the calendar of Milan Fashion Week and under the aegis of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion, it was possible to admire the luxury bags of the Architect and designer Hussain Harba. To frame the event, the historic Bocca Library which stands at no. 12 of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and that since 1775 is a reference point for lovers of culture and design in Milan and Italy.
The bags, a limited edition of the Mini-Home capsule collection, are made by the architect together with his daughter Alia and are already known to an international audience of amateurs that defines them as works that combine art, fashion and design. Registered at Euipo (European Union Intellectual Property Office), they are handcrafted in Italy with the utmost attention to detail and have been protagonists of fashion events such as the Turin Fashion Week, in which Dr. Harba was special guest of the last three editions.
Made in luxurious textures such as python, crocodile and ostrich that make them soft, precious and able to emphasize the brightness of the different colors, they investigate the whole color palette in a creative and refined way. Equipped with hand-finished shoulder strap and logoed closures, they have handles in bamboo registered at the Euipo.
Every detail is the result of the synthesis of design, architecture and art. According to Hussain Harba each object, so even the bag, is an artifact that arises from the sensitivity of the human being because it is the thought behind the creative act, the delta that makes the difference and that distinguishes a serial product from one iconic and original.
True works of wearable art, the Mini-Home - whose name wants to pay homage to the house as a symbol of security that hides and preserves the world of every lady - are customized and therefore all different from each other to reflect the personality of every woman. Elegant and gritty, both the brand new Home-Clutches and the already well-known Mini-Home are declined perfectly from dawn to dusk and are ideal both for the business woman and for those who want to wear them at a party. No wonder then that there are many fashion addicts who have already requested them including the show girl Elena Barolo, the actress Linda Messerklinger and the model Bali Lawal who starred on the catwalks of Armani, Bulgari, Krizia, Chopard, Calvin Klein, Versace, Damiani and other designers.

Art and design creations

His creations, even those on commission, are not simple products but the result of study, design and precision combined with a passion for beauty and the ability to get excited and excite. Dr. Architect Hussain Harba designs luxury jewelry that combines aesthetic research with the choice of precious materials, but also everyday objects such as the Neshua cup, whose name means enjoying the moment. Made in three versions - gold interior and platinum saucer, gold for both and platinum for both - has a handle on both sides that allows gripping with five fingers as in an embrace and allows you to better perceive the feeling of warmth and the cold. The designer, who is above all an artist, designs furniture components with innovative shapes and bright colors in which the materials play a fundamental role. Famous are the sofas and above all the armchairs from the espalier with an unbalanced semicircle in the colors gold and silver, as well as those made in pony or in natural cowhide or even with a texture reminiscent of the autumn leaves and the wooden arms that recall the trunks of the trees. His models, unique or in limited and numbered series, are registered with the Euipo (European Union Intellectual Property Office). Confirming the superior quality of his work, the Iraqi designer, by choice in Turin, in 2017 made a collaboration with the historic Poltronova company in Florence which produced a limited edition of 24 Joe armchairs entitled "Bloom". Recorded and numbered, the armchairs are a tribute to what was done in 1971 by architects Jonathan De Pas, Donato D’urbino and Paolo Lomazzi to celebrate the baseball champion Joe di Maggio. This intervention on a historical object of international design seems to be the first and only ever made.
